SANEI HYTECHS participated in "Geo-ten 2026" held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
At our booth, we introduced use cases for "Robot Development x People Flow Data"—integrating people flow data into our proprietary robot development simulator. We also demonstrated our point cloud data analysis and Open World Technology utilizing VIRTUAL SHIZUOKA (*).

*VIRTUAL SHIZUOKA is 3D point cloud data covering the entire Shizuoka Prefecture, released by the prefecture as open data.
Exhibition Contents
Robot Development x People Flow Data
We presented the process of reproducing real-world people flow data within a 3D environment to verify robot avoidance maneuvers and other autonomous behaviors.
Open World Technology
We showcased a demonstration of constructing vast 3D environments by leveraging the VIRTUAL SHIZUOKA dataset..
It was a valuable opportunity for us to meet so many visitors, hear about their specific challenges, and see the high level of interest in our technologies.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who visited our booth.

Insights: Challenges and Needs Identified at the Event
Throughout the event, we received significant feedback regarding real-world challenges, particularly from the local government, construction, and infrastructure sectors.
Key concerns frequently raised included:
Behind these comments, we sense a strong need to:
Furthermore, we felt a growing interest in the practical application of 3D data for progress monitoring, displacement checks, disaster prevention planning, and traffic flow simulations.
At our company, we are addressing these on-site challenges by considering on-site needs and conducting technical verification to explore technologies and application methods that are easy to use in practical work.
Key concerns frequently raised included:
- "Difficulty in effectively utilizing acquired point cloud data for practical operations."
- "A desire to perform pre-simulations using 3D-reproduced streetscapes."
Behind these comments, we sense a strong need to:
- "We want to convert the measured point cloud data into a format that can be used in practical applications."
- "We want to recreate the real world and verify it in 3D space before implementation."
