Examples of functional blocks.

Pixel driving circuitry. rolling shutter control, global shutter control, exposure time control, HDR, VDEC, HDEC, dummy shutter, and ADC control.
Image processing system. ROI (Region of Interest), pixel addition, OSD (On-Screen Display), LED flicker reduction, AWB/BM (Auto White Balance/Brightness Adjustment), distortion correction, parallelization correction, scaler, OBClamp, HDR, exposure time control, and automatic gain control.

Proposed solution (features)

  • Since development through reuse design is becoming mainstream, we thoroughly understand the specifications and design assets of the underlying CMOS image sensor, and extract and address any differences between the design and verification.
  • To ensure accurate identification of verification scenarios, we trace back from the functional and design specifications to extract relevant verification items.
  • To enhance quality and decrease verification time, we verify that our image processing systems align with reference codes such as C language. Additionally, we actively utilize methods like SystemVerilog for control systems.
