Technology development

We use MATLAB/Simulink for technology development to incorporate new circuit technologies and design methods. With the knowledge and techniques gained from this experience, we have designed ΔΣADC and digital power supplies.

Pursuit of design efficiency

We are specifically focused on analog circuit design as we pursue greater design efficiency. Additionally, we are taking on the challenge of developing more advanced automation that can simulate human judgment.

Integrated design

Our layout designers receive detailed explanations of circuit characteristics from our circuit designers and create layout patterns accordingly. The ability of our layout designers to read circuit diagrams is a major strength of our company. They are experts in circuit characteristics, the internal structure and phenomena of LSIs/semiconductors, and the effects of parasitic elements.

01Specifications study

In our company, we have designers who can handle specification review and consideration in addition to design. Based on the required specifications for developing LSIs/semiconductors, we create design specifications.

02Architecture design

To achieve the operation and characteristics of the required system LSI, we use MATLAB/Simulink and the functional model VerilogA to design the architecture. In mixed-signal LSI development, we appropriately integrate and separate analog and digital at this stage. Our company's unique feature is having architecture designers who streamline the system LSI design process using a top-down approach.

03Circuit design

Based on the design specifications and architecture, we determine circuit constants. Once the design is complete, we verify the analog characteristics using pure SPICE and AMS for mixed-signal circuits. As a company that utilizes a variety of PDKs from major domestic and international fabs for design verification, we have also developed our own in-house design and verification environment. Furthermore, we are continually working to optimize and streamline our design and verification tools for greater efficiency.

04Layout design

Our company has both circuit designers and layout designers who collaborate effectively to achieve the smallest possible layout pattern without compromising circuit characteristics. In addition to physical verification, we also conduct post-layout simulations as part of our verification process.
