In "AI Utilization in Factories," AI mainly serves as a "substitute for the human eye." It enables consistent quality control around the clock through visual inspection using image recognition, defect detection of parts, and anomaly detection on production lines.
What is AI in construction and heavy machinery?
In "AI Utilization at Construction Sites," safety management and infrastructure inspection are the primary areas. AI achieves both accident prevention and efficiency by detecting dangerous actions through worker posture estimation and automatically analyzing equipment inspections in high-altitude or wide-area locations (such as overhead lines and bridges) that are difficult for humans.
While AI utilization has significant benefits such as "improved productivity" and "elimination of dependency on individuals," it also includes serious disadvantages (risks) such as "accidents or outflow of defects due to misrecognition" if the quality of training data is low.
