Hamamatsu Nishi High School (February 3, 2026)

We foster students' interest in IT and create learning opportunities that pave the way for their future.
On February 3, 2026, we hosted a field study for eight 1st-year students from Hamamatsu Nishi High School.

Hands-on Program

he students participated in the following experience programs:
  • Company Overview and Office Tour
  • Analog Circuit Design Experience
  • Employee Roundtable Session

Students' impressions

  • I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in the future, but this field study helped me discover a new path. The most exciting part was working with analog circuits and getting the system to stop exactly where I intended.
  • By operating robots myself and working together with my friends to achieve success, I learned how enjoyable hands-on manufacturing can be. Listening to the employees and getting hands-on experience really helped broaden my perspective on my future career.
  • I’ve always struggled with math, so it was challenging at first, but I felt a great sense of accomplishment when the robot stopped exactly as calculated. I really enjoyed listening to their talk. I was unsure whether to go on to the Faculty of Information Science, but listening to the employees' stories gave me a new perspective.
  • It was a valuable experience to learn how LSIs are developed and used, as well as how to design circuits without using microcontrollers. The company has a wide range of facilities, and it felt like a comfortable and supportive place to work.
  • We encountered some challenges during the design exercise, but it was very enjoyable to try things I don’t usually get to experience. I was surprised to see unexpected facilities inside the company, such as a library and snack area.
  • As I’m considering a science and engineering major, I especially enjoyed measuring voltage and resistance and analyzing graph data. This experience helped me think more clearly about which field of study I would like to pursue.
  • Touring the workplace made it easier to picture what it’s like to work in this kind of environment. I had imagined the workplace would feel very busy and stressful, but seeing the break areas and the employees’ positive attitudes made me want to work at a company like this in the future.
  • Since I rarely have the opportunity to build analog circuits, this was a very valuable experience. Watching the professionals in action and getting hands-on experience myself made this a very fulfilling field study.
