The 28st HAMAMATSU JAZZ WEEK

The 28st HAMAMATSU JAZZ WEEK is one of the initiatives under Hamamatsu City's urban development project, focusing on music, known as the "Music Town Development" project.

In the "28st HAMAMATSU JAZZ WEEK," four new programs will be implemented:

• "Next Generation Development Special Workshop" and showcase concert "Next Generation Jazz Stage" targeting big bands of elementary to university students active in the local community as a next-generation education plan for children to deeply learn jazz.
• Jazz piano workshop by world-renowned jazz pianist Kenny Barron.
• Special two-day event commemorating the 90th anniversary of Bill Evans' birth, featuring a dialogue between Bill Evans and Miles Davis – Jazz Talk Live.
• Yamaha Corporate Museum Concert, "Innovation Road," featuring a jazz concert using exhibited instruments within the museum.
