Shizuoka Prefectural Hamamatsu Kita High School (October 28, 2022)
We support the career development and path choices of middle and high school students.
On October 28, 2022, as part of our community contribution initiative, employees from our company participated as instructors in the 'Extracurricular Lesson by Seniors' held at Shizuoka Prefectural Hamamatsu Kita High School.The 'Extracurricular Lesson by Seniors' is a program where current students at Hamamatsu Kita High School are spoken to by seniors about their career perspectives and life experiences.
Two members from our company, including an engineer and a human resources representative, who are alumni of Hamamatsu Kita High School, participated as instructors.
I had various discussions for around 50 second-year students from Hamamatsu Kita High School who are interested in STEM fields. For instance, I covered topics such as an introduction to SANEI HYTECHS, our strengths, the workplace atmosphere, specific job responsibilities of engineers, the rewards of the profession, why I chose to be an engineer, important aspects in developing 'AI,' and things high school students can do to pursue a career as an engineer.
